History

1970

Opens headquarters in Houston, Texas. Focus is on chelated micronutrients.

The process of developing expertise on production habits of over 70 crops worldwide begins.

1977

The first stroller subsidiary outside of the United State is Stroller Brazil.

1979

Stroller introduce an innovative flowable sulfur product making sulfur applications easier for growers.

1988

Nitro-Plus, a controlled-release nitrogen product with a calcium components is introduced. This is unique for its time.

1990

Stoller’s Stimulate™, the first Crop Health product is marketed.

1992

StrollerUSA begins experimenting with and researching the genetic expression of plants.

1993

Stoller hosts first US Ag Associates Conference in Chicago, bringing together a small number of growers and cunsultatnts to address the issues facing growers.

1995

The US Ag conference moves to Houston, Texas and by 2007 hosts over 300 visitors from 20 countries.

1996

Stoller markets patented KEYLATE™ line of micronutrients.

 

ReZist, a systematic acquired resistance product, is marketed for the first time.

1998

Ermst & Young award Jerry Stoller with the Entrepreneur of the Year award.

2001

Crop Health Therapy is defined to describe plant hormone technology developments.

2003

Texas Agriculture Experiment Station study results show plants treated with Stoller technology naturally improved their resistance to insects. Stroller continues to refine its model of hormone activity and nutrient interaction.

2004

Independent research demonstrate tomato plants treated with Stroller’s Root Feed™ produced 30-60% more marketable yield.

2005

Stroller researchers releases data showing that Bio-Forge increases the survival rate and yield potential of stressed crops.

2006

Stroller’s 55,000 sq. ft., production facility opens in Houston, Texas.

2007

Penn State University publishes research data proving Flower Power can significantly increase pollination and yields without the need for honey bees.

2008

StrollerUSA is recipient of the Frost & Sullivan Green Excellence Award.

2014

Stroller develops the theory to Thermobiogenetics; the science of energy absorption and partitioning by plants to manage climatic stresses.

2016

Announcement of Presindent and CEO to head the Stoller Group and all subsidiaries.

 

New global headquarters is built and occupied in Houston, Texas

2017

Stroller implements global Mission, Vision and Values, the process for growth through continuous improvement, teamwork, focus and commitment.

2018

The 25 annual Stoller International Associates Conference continues the legacy of conecting growers, consultants, and researchers.
